My approach is focused on awareness. Awareness of patterns, of the way you make your choices and of the way you want to live your life. You face these patterns in taking care of yourself, and in relation to others. Why do you do what you do and does it help you or hinder you? We always start by identifying your situation together: what are you facing and what do you need help with?
By conversation, making use of silence, feeling (or learning how to do that in a conscious way) and different kinds of exercises we will explore your needs. Depending on the situation you are in, we will discuss what outcome you would like and what we need to do to get there.
I use my knowledge of Transpersonal psychology, EFT relationship therapy, energetic coaching, different kinds of meditation techniques and exercises that help you experience what you feel and how you can use that in your advantage.
It’s important to me to customize the way we work as much as possible, based on your needs and questions. Therefore, I don’t use a fixed method or a fixed number of sessions. We will keep reflecting on how you are doing and if we are still on track as we go.
We can have one or more separate sessions, or the counseling takes place in a continuous series for a longer period of time. The number of sessions and the frequence are discussed before the start of the counseling, and can be adjusted during the process if needed.
We’ll always start with an intake to see if there is a good mutual connection. The intake takes about an hour and is aimed at clarifying your needs and questions. For more information about pricing, check ‘Pricing‘ on this website.
In principle, the sessions take place in my practice in the city center of Amersfoort. However, if desired, it is also possible to do the sessions online. Contact me to discuss the different options!
